Keryn este un instrument de găzduire declarativă pentru serverele pe care le dețineți deja. Keryn is a declarative hosting tool for servers you already own. You write a keryn.yaml file describing hosts and apps; Keryn checks the hosts, installs a lightweight Kubernetes cluster (k3s), automatic TLS certificates and, optionally, a WireGuard private network, then publishes the apps with zero-downtime updates.

Diferența față de alte instrumente este regula de aprobare: orice comandă care schimbă ceva rulează mai întâi ca simulare și afișează amprenta SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm, 256 de biți) a planului. What sets it apart is the approval rule: every command that changes something runs first as a dry run and prints the plan’s SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm, 256-bit) digest. The change runs only when the command receives exactly that digest. If the file or the hosts changed in the meantime, the digest no longer matches and nothing happens.
