Aplicațiile cu stare primesc volume persistente pe disc local. Keryn le tratează cu prudență: o singură replică și înlocuire completă la actualizare.

Stateful apps get persistent volumes on local disk. Keryn treats them cautiously: a single replica and full replacement on update.

ReguliRules

• O aplicație cu volume are cel mult o replică: două procese care scriu pe același disc ar corupe datele.
• Actualizarea folosește strategia Recreate: replica veche se oprește înainte de pornirea celei noi. Există o scurtă întrerupere.
• Volumul este legat de gazda pe care a fost creat.

• An app with volumes has at most one replica: two processes writing to the same disk would corrupt data.
• Updates use the Recreate strategy: the old replica stops before the new one starts. There is a short interruption.
• The volume is bound to the host where it was created.
